mTw and SoA in KGC final

Komplett Gamer Challenge 2009 has reached its two final participants, to battle in the grand final Saturday.

The upper-bracket final ended earlier today, seeing mTw defeating Ravens in great style with 16-2 on train. Ravens should then fight Spirit of Amiga in the consolidation final, to determine who would face mTw in the grand final. Spirit of Amiga started best in the match, getting a 9-6 lead as T on inferno.

Spirit of Amiga had a lot of crucial rounds lost, seeing Ravens sneaking up from behind. It all ended with a retake from Spirit of Amiga in the 30th round, failing and seeing Ravens force overtime.

In overtime, Spirit of Amiga showed no mercy, winning 3-0 and 1-0, taking home an overall score of 19-15. This qualifies Spirit of Amiga to play mTw in the grand final of Komplett Gamer Challenge, taking place Saturday at 19:00CET.

The grand final will as mentioned be played Saturday at 19:00CET, taking place on site at SLAP LIVE #19. Spirit of Amiga will have to win two maps against mTw, as they come from the lower-bracket, while mTw will need just one map win.
